Nurtazina Sholpan – young and talented poetess of Kazakhstan. She was born on October 18, 1990 in Semipalatinsk city.

“My profession is economist. But literature is inherent part of my life. I have relations with Kokbay Zhanataiuly and Mukhtar Auezov. That is why literature for me is blood call. Poetry and literature attracted me since childhood, because reading is a tradition of our family. My father owns a huge library full of the greatest books, which brought love to poetry, literature in my life since I was a child.

I started to write prose and short stories when I was ten years old. It is all started, as like others, in school. School newspapers, competitions.

At present time I am writing short stories, I call them a certain form of registration of my thoughts and poems. I think in the future I will face more bigger experiments. Also it would be desirable to develop interest of younger generation in poetry, the creative letter and poetic performances, called by Poetry Performance.

Besides poetry, I am interested in modern web log, because I have my own blog on Kazakh platform yvision.kz. Posts are dedicated to theme of music, books and movies. Also, I am a volunteer of public fund “Best For Kids” On own initiative we hold the training, sporting events, departures in orphanages for the purpose of social adaptation of children from orphanages”.
