The poet and journalist Asanov Kairbek was born on February 19, 1945 in the Terenozeksk region of Kyzylorda area. From 1953 to 1964 he went to school, then joined army ranks. After the army Asanov Kairbek worked as the manager of regional department of culture, as the secretary of committee of Komsomol of state farm «Karaozek» and as the inspector on a regular unit of regional consumers union.
In 1968 entered the Kazakh state university. He studied Journalism. His last year of being a student he worked for 'Leninshyl zhas' newspaper (today the newspape is called 'Zhas alash') From that time Asanov Kairbek started his creative path.
In 1987-1988 he graduated from the Supreme school of Marxism-Leninism under party committee of Almaty area.
Asanov Kairbek wrote such poetic collections as «Tungysh» (1978), «Suiemyn seni» (1980), «Gashyk gumyr» (1982), «Sen zhanymda zhursen» (1989), «Agaiynga ak tilek» (2004), «Kunnin nury kuatym» (2005), Makhabbat (2006), «Adaldyk asyl myratym» (2009).
Asanov Kairbek is a laureate and prize-winner of a number of poetic festivals.
